Cherry graduated with a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Manitoba in 2010. Since then, she has worked in the orthopedic and vascular surgery wards, rehabilitation settings, and outpatient services. Throughout the years, Cherry has developed various skills to assist clients with different neurological/physiological conditions to achieve their functional goals. Additionally, Cherry has specialized knowledge in providing assessments and recommendations for assistive technology devices such as alternative computer solutions, Electronic Aids to Daily Living (EADLs) and specialty drive controls to operate a power wheelchair in her consultative role with Assistive Technology Products and Services.
Cherry lives in Winnipeg with her husband and two sons. Favourite family activities include watching hockey games and travelling together. In her spare time, Cherry enjoys playing on both of her indoor and outdoor soccer teams.
