Elisha graduated from McMaster University, School of Rehabilitation Science in 2007 with a Master of Science (OT) and has since been practicing in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, long-term care and the community. Elisha has worked in specialized rehabilitation for over ten years, with a focus on complex seating/mobility, skin/wound management, upper limb restoration, functional electrical stimulation, orthotics/splinting, spasticity management and home safety/accessibility. Elisha works part time for Therapy First and is also employed at the Health Sciences Centre, specializing in inpatient spinal cord, amputee and neuro-musculoskeletal rehabilitation. She has worked across the continuum of care and has experience in acute and sub-acute settings as well. In addition to being a clinician, Elisha derives satisfaction from her involvement in various research endeavours and clinical working groups. Elisha is passionate about delivering client-centred, evidence-based rehabilitation services.
